How would you have reacted if a friend told you were they blind?

If my friend told me they were blind I would have said "That's so terrible! I'm so sorry." I would've treated them really nicely and been very helpful instead of what Molly's friend's said.

Do you think Molly would have become a motivational speaker if she had not been bullied?

I don't think Molly would've become a motivational speaker because she wouldn't have any of the connections or motivation to speak in front of the people.

Yesterday Ms. Canada or Tara Tang visited our school. She had a presentation on Human Trafficking in the world. I learned that Human Trafficking is when a person is forced into labour such as prostitution, cotton picking, and many more forms of labour. I also learned that there are many ways that we can stop this like downloading the Free2Work app. We can write a letter to our MPs, also we can help others who have been put into this line of work. I thought she had a really good presentation because she never stopped making eye contact, she was loud and clear, she memorized her speech, and she gave examples of children she worked with.

We just finished the book Wonder. In the book I really enjoyed how descriptive the author was. I liked how the book had a really positive message. After reading Wonder I have learned that even if someone has a disability they are a just a normal person and we don't need to treat them any differently.

This New Year I have decided to make 2 resolutions. My first resolution is to do my homework right when I get home from school instead of the morning it's due and my second resolution is to stop fighting with my little brother.

My Plan:
For my first resolution I plan to have my Mom remind me when I get home but if she isn't home I will have a note on the fridge to remind me.

For my second resolution my plan is when we do start to fight or argue I will take a deep breath and think this is silly and I shouldn't continue this.

So 3 days ago it was Christmas! On Christmas eve I went over to my Grandma's house and at about seven o'clock my Mom picked me and my Brother up. We went home and baked some cookies for Santa. That night I flip-flopped over and over waking up almost every hour on the hour. I finally woke up at six and decided I would go open up my stocking. So, I woke my brother up and we went out to the living room and opened up my Stocking. In my stocking was a toothbrush, some chocolate, 4 kinder eggs, 2 street hockey balls, and some Axe Body Spray. After we opened our stocking's we watched TV until seven then got up my Mom and Dad. We started opening up our gift's after they got all their coffee and stuff. The first gift I opened was from Santa, it was a Logitech G330 headset for my computer. The rest of the gift's were from my parents. I got New Hockey Gloves, 12 Month Xbox Live membership, 2000 Microsoft Points, New Hockey Bag, A Ball Hockey Registration completion form, Kinect Sports, and Money. Later at about twelve I we exchanged gifts with our cousins. My cousins got me NHL 13 and my Uncle got me NBA 2K13. That was what I got this year and I really enjoyed Christmas!

This Christmas I hope to see my Grandma.
This Christmas I hope to see my Baby Cousin.
This Christmas I hope to get some money.
This Christmas I hope to have Christmas dinner with my family.
This Christmas I hope to see my Grandpa.
This Christmas I hope to see my Uncle.
This Christmas I hope my Baby Cousin is Born.
This Christmas I hope to get NHL 13.
This Christmas I hope to see my Family from Edmonton.
This Christmas I hope it's Wonderful.

That is what I hope for this Christmas!

To me the “Precept”: Your deeds are your monuments means to me that the things people do is what they will be known by. To me it seems like an unfair statement because everyone makes mistakes sometimes and if you make one you don’t want to be known for that or have that mistake as your “Monument”.

In this section of Wonder August went to his first day of school. I think August was nervous because of the way he looked but, he ended up being fine. Julian was a bit mean to him in Homeroom. I think Julian was only mean because he is afraid of August. When he met Summer in the cafeteria and made that list with her he probably felt really good to have another friend at the school. That is what I thought about August's 1st day of School.

While I was reading the book I was wondering why Julian would be so mean to August. I think it is because Julian is just afraid of how August looks and is mean to him to hide his fear. Another theory I had was Julian is mean to August because he is one of those kids who is really nice in the presence of adults but really mean to kids who are not his friends. I thought this because Julian gives off a vibe of a mean kid. That is what I thought while I was reading I Wonder.
